Biografi :

Brian Nicholas McFadden lahir di Artane, Dublin, Irlandia, 12 April 1980. Ia adalah seorang penyanyi yang pernah populer bersama grup musik boyband Irlandia, Westlife. McFadden keluar dari grup tersebut pada 9 Maret 2004 dan berkosentrasi pada keluarga dan solo karir.

Saat di Westlife, ia juga diketahui sebagai menulis lagu, di mana di antaranya lagunya adalah Fragile Heart (album Coast to Coast), Bop Bop Baby, I Wanna Grow Old With You dan Love Crime (album World of Our Own). Kabar terakhir menyebutkan, istrinya yang bernama Gillian telah melahirkan seorang bayi perempuan yang lucu di rumah sakit Sligo General.
Bayi yang diberi nama Nicole Filan tersebut dilahirkan 10 hari lebih cepat dari perkiraan dengan berat 5,7 lbs atau sekitar 3 kilogram lebih melalui proses caesar, seperti yang diberitakan oleh IOL.com
Shane dan Gillian yang sama-sama berumur 26 tahun tersebut menikah satu setengah tahun yang lalu. Mengenai kelahirannya tersebut Shane mengatakan bahwa ia dan Gillian sama-sama menangis karena senang saat melihat Nicole hadir di dunia, sebab hal itu merupakan pengalaman yang mengagumkan bagi hidupnya.
